After you launch
The receipt can point at the site. It should not point at a fake five stars.
A receipt is a second chance to give the URL. Some POS vendors push review funnels that hide bad ratings. We will not help you build that. Point at the site. If they want to review, they can find GBP on their own.
QR to the live site (or a specific true page like hours/menu). Do not QR to a "how many stars" filter. Do not invent testimonials.
What the QR is for
Find us again, see hours, reorder if that is real, read the return policy you already published.
What it is not for
Fake-review harvesting. Star-gating. A second Instagram. See trust: no fake reviews.
How to add it
If the printer can, do it. If not, the counter QR is enough.
- Pick the URL of record (home, or a true menu page).
- Generate QR. Test a printed receipt at typical size, receipts are narrow.
- If it will not scan, skip the receipt QR and keep the counter cling.
- Never point at a page that asks them to lie.
POS reality
We do not sync Square/Clover. If your POS has a URL field, paste Bizzit. If not, paper QR on the counter.
Checkout on Pro
The receipt from your processor is their template. The site is ours. Two papers can both tell the truth.
Refunds
The return policy should already be on the site they will open. See shops: returns before the first order.
Limits and caveats
Some jurisdictions have receipt rules. Not legal advice. Do not put extra marketing on a receipt if you are not allowed to.
If a sentence would require a competitor SKU we have not verified, or a statistic we did not measure, it does not belong here.
