The signature is a footer, not a flyer. Put the site. Stop there if you can.
Every invoice and reply can carry the URL. Most signatures carry a graveyard of icons and a slogan. Customers need the site and maybe the phone that matches NAP.
Name, role if it is true, phone, URL. Generate a simple signature. When the domain goes live, update it the same week as the cards.
What the tool is
email-signature is a public helper for a small block of text/HTML you paste into your mail app. It is not Microsoft 365. It is not Mailchimp.
How to set it
Short, true, current.
- Publish the site. Copy the HTTPS URL.
- Use email-signature (or type it) with name, phone matching NAP, and that URL.
- Paste into your real mailbox. Send yourself a test from a phone.
- If you buy a domain on Pro, replace the slug in the signature when it is the URL of record.
No fake titles
Do not put "Award-winning" or a fake editor-in-chief. See fake authors. A one-person shop can say owner.
Images
A huge logo in the signature is a download tax. The site already has the brand. A text URL survives more clients.
Legal footers
If you need a confidentiality novel, that is your lawyer. We are not that. Do not paste fake company registration numbers.
Mailbox versus website DNS
MX is not CNAME. mailbox-guess is a tool, not a mail host we sell as IONOS does.
Limits and caveats
Staff signatures drift. If three people send three URLs, pick one URL of record.
If a sentence would require a competitor SKU we have not verified, or a statistic we did not measure, it does not belong here.

Questions people actually ask
Can the signature include a QR?
Rarely worth it in email. The link is enough. QR is for paper and the counter.
Should I add Instagram?
Optional. The site should already list it. One extra link is plenty.
Does Pro include email hosting?
No. $12 is the site bundle.
HTML versus plain text?
Plain survives. HTML looks nicer in some apps and worse in others. Test.
