Shops and catalogs

The crew and the shelf can share a URL. They cannot share a fake SKU.

Services and products on one site: two offers, one NAP, no mashed cart | Bizzit guide

A salon that sells product, a baker who also teaches, a plumber with a small parts shelf, one URL is fine. One mashed "add to cart" on a custom job is not. The brief has to say which sentences take money how.

Keep one name, address, phone, and hours. Split the offers: from-price or form for labor, cart for packed SKUs. Do not let Cipher blend them into a nonsense aisle.

NAP is shared

One business. Format NAP once. Hours on the door match both offers unless you truly run two clocks, then say so.

Labor is not a variant

A haircut is not "SKU-small." Deposits, duration, and what happens if they are late belong in service copy, not a size dropdown.

Shelf is not a from-price

If the bottle is $18, print $18. "From $18" on a single bottle is coy.

Who should split into two URLs

Only if they are truly two companies. Two URLs for the same van is how local search splits. Usually one site, two sections.

Checkout

Pro checkout is your account. If labor is invoiced another way, say that. Two tills need two sentences, not two silent prices.

What we will not pretend

No POS, no inventory sync with a register, no booking-system sync. Empty cells stay empty.

Limits and caveats

Overnight jobs will follow a mashed brief into a mashed catalog. Separate the nouns.

If a sentence would require a competitor SKU we have not verified, or a statistic we did not measure, it does not belong here.

What to do after you read this

If this page answered the query, open Create with the nouns from your own business, not a slogan. If it did not, you are probably in the wrong cluster: go back to the blog hub or Shops and catalogs. Do not spin a second URL for a synonym. One intent per page is the whole point of this library.

Tools that actually do this job

These are public pages. Use them when the job is this job. They are not a second product you have to buy.

Questions people actually ask

Can Cipher tell services from products?

If you write them as different jobs. If you write "we do it all," you get mush.

Should retail hours differ from appointment hours?

If they do in real life, the site must. See hours on the door.

Do I need Shopify for the shelf?

Only if you need a cart OS. See the Shopify decision page.

Is this a salon-website clone?

No. That trade page exists. This is the mixed-offer structure for any trade.
