Domains and DNS
A TXT row can prove you own the name. It does not serve HTML. The site still needs a CNAME (or whatever the live flow says).
People paste a Google verification TXT and think the site should load. Verification is ownership. CNAME is hosting. SPF is mail. Three TXT-looking jobs, three outcomes. Someone who added a Search Console TXT and still sees the old registrar parking page. If the browser loads a park, you did not finish web DNS.
TXT records do not make a Bizzit site appear. On Pro at $12 a month, CNAME the web host to slug.bizzit.io. You may also add TXT for verification or mail policies. Do not delete the CNAME when you add TXT.
Who this is for
Someone who added a Search Console TXT and still sees the old registrar parking page. If that is not you, a different Bizzit guide will fit better, do not force this URL.
The actual answer
People paste a Google verification TXT and think the site should load. Verification is ownership. CNAME is hosting. SPF is mail. Three TXT-looking jobs, three outcomes. If the browser loads a park, you did not finish web DNS. The short version is still the one in the box at the top of this page. The rest of the article exists so you do not have to guess the limits.
Do this in order
Web first: CNAME and 200. Then optional TXT. Then mail records only if you mean mail.
- Add the web CNAME
- Wait TTL and confirm 200
- Add verification TXT if you need Search Console
- Keep SPF/DKIM if mail already works
- Do not stack random TXT from old tutorials
What not to do
Do not put the website target in a TXT. Do not doorway a unique TXT per city. Do not paste competitor SPF. That is the usual way a useful page turns into a doorway, a fake comparison, or a brief Cipher cannot honor.
How this shows up on Bizzit
We generate a sitemap for bizzit.io. Your tenant host is yours to verify. We do not claim we clicked Submit.
Limits
Do not put the website target in a TXT. Do not doorway a unique TXT per city. Do not paste competitor SPF.
Limits and caveats
Do not put the website target in a TXT. Do not doorway a unique TXT per city. Do not paste competitor SPF.
If a sentence would require a competitor SKU we have not verified, or a statistic we did not measure, it does not belong here.
What to do after you read this
If this page answered the query, open Create with the nouns from your own business, not a slogan. If it did not, you are probably in the wrong cluster: go back to the blog hub or Domains and DNS. Do not spin a second URL for a synonym. One intent per page is the whole point of this library.

Questions people actually ask
Google site verification CNAME vs TXT?
Follow Google's current method. Either way, you still need our web CNAME for the site to be us.
DMARC?
Mail policy. Not the website. Empty cell if we have not named a mail product.
Multiple TXT?
Hosts allow several. Do not overwrite SPF when adding verification.
DNSSEC and TXT?
DNSSEC is still not a SKU we invent. Get 200 first.
