If the photo is a lifestyle lie, the refund is a logistics truth.
Cipher cannot smell the shop. If you upload a stock candle and ship a different candle, that is your policy, not a theme. A small shop earns trust when the photo is the SKU.
Photograph the thing you will pack, on a plain surface, in daylight you actually have. Upload those. Use a wider hero only for the place, not as a fake SKU.
One SKU, one honest still
A square photo of the object beats a montage. Variants need their own stills if they look different in the hand.
Hero is not the product
The hero can be the storefront or the workbench. The catalog card must be the goods. Mixing them is how people buy the room.
What not to upload
Chat screenshots, marketplace screenshots, another seller's listing, a Canva mock of a box you do not have. Rights and honesty both fail there.
Phone is enough
A photographer is a cost you may add later. A clean phone photo today is better than stock sourdough on a hardware shop. See the cost cluster for when to hire.
How to get them on the site
Take the photos. Upload in Create. Name the product in the brief so Cipher does not caption a candle as soap.
- Shoot the SKU you pack, same angle you would accept as a customer.
- Reject any frame that is a different product or a screenshot.
- Upload the stills. Write the product nouns in the brief.
- Preview the catalog on a phone. If you would refund it, reshoot.
We do not have a studio SKU
No Figma, no Drive sync, no generated "AI product pack" we will claim as photography. Empty cells stay empty.
Limits and caveats
Stock photos you do not have rights to are a legal problem we will not bless. Not legal advice, do not steal listings.
If a sentence would require a competitor SKU we have not verified, or a statistic we did not measure, it does not belong here.
