Shops and catalogs
The counter has hours. The carrier has a cutoff. They are not the same sentence.
Many small shops do both: a bag at the register and a box in the mail. The site has to say which SKUs can do which, and when a human is there to hand over the bag.
List pickup hours that match the door. List ship cutoffs that match packing. Mark SKUs that are pickup-only. Do not let a generated catalog imply Prime and a warm bun at 7am as the same promise.
Hours of record
Pickup is local hours. Use hours schema that matches the door. Shipping cutoff can be earlier than close. Write both.
SKU flags in the brief
"Cakes pickup only. Tins can ship." If you do not write it, Cipher may ship a cake in copy.
Money
Postage is not pickup. Do not charge shipping on a pickup order in copy if checkout will not, and vice versa.
Who should be pickup-only
Food with a short life, oversized work, anything you will not pack. Put it on the card.
Who should be ship-only
A shop with no counter. Then do not print "come by."
Maps versus site
The pin is not a shipping policy. GBP hours must still match. We do not sync Maps.
Limits and caveats
We do not have a pickup-slot booking system. If you need scheduled pickup windows as software, that cell is empty. Write the hours instead.
If a sentence would require a competitor SKU we have not verified, or a statistic we did not measure, it does not belong here.
What to do after you read this
If this page answered the query, open Create with the nouns from your own business, not a slogan. If it did not, you are probably in the wrong cluster: go back to the blog hub or Shops and catalogs. Do not spin a second URL for a synonym. One intent per page is the whole point of this library.
Tools that actually do this job
These are public pages. Use them when the job is this job. They are not a second product you have to buy.
Questions people actually ask
Can one SKU be both?
Yes if you pack both ways. Say how the customer chooses, only if checkout actually offers the choice.
Do I need two websites?
No. One catalog, clear sentences.
What about curbside?
If you run it, write the phone and the stall. We do not have a curbside app.
Overnight jobs and pickup specials?
Do not brief a 6am special you will not staff.
