Trust and legal

A five-page shop still should not send a password or a checkout over cleartext.

HTTPS on a tiny site: the lock is not a marketing badge, it is how the URL should load | Bizzit guide

People think TLS is for banks. Customers still type emails into forms. Browsers warn on HTTP. Google's Search documentation treats HTTPS as a basic of a public URL. A tiny site does not get a pass.

Use the HTTPS URL we serve. When you connect a domain on Pro, the name should load as HTTPS. We are not selling a security audit SKU. Empty cells stay empty.

What HTTPS is

Encryption in transit between the browser and the host. It is not "hacker proof." It is not a rank potion we sell.

The slug

you.bizzit.io should be opened as https://you.bizzit.io/, not a bookmark to http. If something mixed-content breaks, fix the mixed content; do not tell customers to ignore the warning.

Custom domain

Pro includes a custom domain path. The public prove is the name serving the app on HTTPS, not a parked HTTP page. DNS articles cover connecting; this page is why you care.

Checkout

On Pro, checkout is your payment account. The processor's HTTPS is theirs. Do not collect card numbers in a Cipher form we did not ship as a vault. Empty cells stay empty.

What we will not pretend

No pentest report, no SOC2 badge we invented, no "bank-grade" slogan. No fake security stats.

Google

Search Central documents HTTPS. We link it because it is primary, not because we sell SEO.

Limits and caveats

HTTPS does not make the business honest. A TLS lock on fake hours is still fake hours. Not legal advice. Not a PCI assessment.

If a sentence would require a competitor SKU we have not verified, or a statistic we did not measure, it does not belong here.

What to do after you read this

If this page answered the query, open Create with the nouns from your own business, not a slogan. If it did not, you are probably in the wrong cluster: go back to the blog hub or Trust and legal. Do not spin a second URL for a synonym. One intent per page is the whole point of this library.

Tools that actually do this job

These are public pages. Use them when the job is this job. They are not a second product you have to buy.

Questions people actually ask

Does Free include HTTPS?

The public slug is served on our HTTPS host. Use the https URL.

Do I buy a certificate?

Not as a separate homework packet for the slug. Custom domain TLS follows how we actually provision, do not invent a cPanel step we do not have.

Will HTTPS rank me?

We do not sell rankings. HTTPS is table stakes, not a campaign.

Is the padlock "secure" in the marketing sense?

It means transport encryption, not that we verified your trade license.
