Bizzit

Google and local search

The profile is the map pack. The site is the hours, the menu, the action. They must match.

Google Business Profile vs your website: both, not a clone war | Bizzit guide

A Google Business Profile is how you show up in the local pack and on Maps. A website is the page you control: menu, packages, the form, the story that does not fit three GBP fields. You want both, and they must say the same name, address, and phone. Hours must match. If the profile says open and the site says voicemail, you will collect the review. Bizzit will not ship fifty "plumber in {suburb}" pages to game that pack, that is a doorway pattern and a good way to hurt the domain. Put towns on one page. Use the NAP formatter. Use hours schema that matches the door. The profile's website field can be you.bizzit.io until Pro puts your name on the door.

Keep a Google Business Profile for the map pack and a website for the rest of the business. Match NAP and hours. Do not clone city URLs. A Bizzit slug is a valid website field until you put a custom domain on Pro at $12 a month.

Who this is for

A local business that has a profile, or is about to, and just published a site. If that is not you, a different Bizzit guide will fit better, do not force this URL.

The actual answer

GBP is not a website replacement for anything that needs a menu, a package grid, or a policy. The site is not a replacement for the pack. Consistency is the SEO. The short version is still the one in the box at the top of this page. The rest of the article exists so you do not have to guess the limits.

Do this in order

Follow the steps. Skip the ones that are not your job. Do not add extra tools as if they were required SKUs.

  1. Create or claim the profile at Google's business help
  2. Set the website field to your live slug or domain
  3. Copy NAP from one source of truth
  4. Match hours to the door and to JSON-LD
  5. List service towns on one site page, not 50 URLs

What not to do

Do not buy fake reviews. Do not create duplicate profiles. Do not doorway. Do not put a different phone on the site "for tracking" without a plan, that breaks NAP. That is the usual way a useful page turns into a doorway, a fake comparison, or a brief Cipher cannot honor.

How this shows up on Bizzit

Create is where you brief Cipher. Pricing is public. Tools are public pages that do a job, they are not a second SKU you must buy.

Limits

We do not invent competitor prices, statistics, or features we have not shipped. If a sentence would require a lie, it does not belong here. Empty cells stay empty.

Limits and caveats

Do not buy fake reviews. Do not create duplicate profiles. Do not doorway. Do not put a different phone on the site "for tracking" without a plan, that breaks NAP.

If a sentence would require a competitor SKU we have not verified, or a statistic we did not measure, it does not belong here.

What to do after you read this

If this page answered the query, open Create with the nouns from your own business, not a slogan. If it did not, you are probably in the wrong cluster: go back to the blog hub or Google and local search. Do not spin a second URL for a synonym. One intent per page is the whole point of this library.

Tools that actually do this job

These are public pages. Use them when the job is this job. They are not a second product you have to buy.

Questions people actually ask

Is the slug OK on the profile?

Yes. It is a real HTTPS site. Upgrade the field when the custom domain is live.

Should I hide the address if I am mobile?

Follow Google's service-area rules. The site should also say mobile. Do not fake a suite.

Do you post to GBP for me?

Not as a silent social intern. Overnight jobs follow the brief for the site. We have not shipped a GBP autopilot we will not name.

Hours schema?

Use the hours tool and keep it identical to the profile and the door.
